Parent-to-Parent Matching
FSN matches parents seeking support to trained Parent Mentors with similar life experiences. Parent Mentors provide one to one emotional and informational support for parents/caregivers to help them adjust, adapt, and feel encouraged in their parenting journey.
Parent Mentor Orientation
FSN provides parent mentor orientation trainings (both in person and virtual) to give those interested in providing parent to parent support a foundational skill set. This training equips experienced parents and caregivers with tools to provide families with social emotional and informational support.
Information and Referral
FSN provides families and service providers with information and referrals to community, regional, state, and national services and resources to support their children and family members.
Support Groups and/or Workshops
FSN provides social and emotional support, information and skills training, and leadership opportunities for families in confidential, safe settings. Most workshops and groups are available to families free of charge.
Service System Navigation Support
FSN provides assistance navigating service systems to increase access to supports and resources for children with special healthcare needs, disabilities, and behavior health challenges and their families.
Language Line
FSN is proud to partner with Language Line Solutions which allows us access to on demand interpretation in 240 languages so we can support families across the state no matter what primary language they use. When a family needs assistance, they can call our 800 access line and state “I need help in (fill in the language).”
