Virtual Parent Mentor Orientation Training with FSN of Western NC

Since 1985, FSN has connected parents to volunteer parents who are uniquely qualified to help because of shared experiences, and are trained to offer support in meaningful ways for families undergoing a new diagnosis, transition, or crisis. FSN’s Parent Mentor Orientation Training offers volunteer parents the tools they need to support others and become an official FSN Parent Mentor.
The Parent Mentor Orientation Training is for parents who have experience navigating systems and understand the unique experience of raising a child with a disability, mental health challenge, or special healthcare need.

Join the FSN of Western Carolina Team for a free virtual Parent Mentor Orientation Training on September 24 from 5:30-7:30pm. This training requires about an hour of pre-work to be completed before the virtual meeting.
